Course Description

A career road map is important to help you effectively navigate, organise and plan your professional journey. Securing a path forward and ensuring that you achieve your targets will ensure both commitment and follow-through, that you do not give up in the face of difficulties in achieving your goals and career aspiration. No matter where you are in your career, this course will help you maximise your investment of time and skills, and leverage your strengths, needs and circumstances. The aim of this course is to provide the skills needed to review, build and or refine a solid career plan. We will explore how to analyse and develop career goals, make SMART objectives, coupled with enablers that will help you follow through on your development plan. We will explore tactics to mitigate barriers so that you can achieve your goals and ambitions. By the end of the session, participants are expected to be able to apply key learning that will help them (1) better understand and analyse their career goals, (2) develop a career plan that is SMART, (3) make their plan water-tight and take adjustments where required as our lives and industries change, and (4) give them the confidence needed to reach their professional ambitions. This interactive session is composed of short presentations, exercises, case study, theory and practice, along with discussion and Q&As. It will provide a unique opportunity to gain insight, know-how, and build a personal network of like-minded people in the cohort. This is a half day (3 hr session) that can be delivered on a 1-1 basis, which provides dedicated attention or to a cohort (max 14 people). Group discount of 10% available for 4 or more people. Participants will be issued with a CPD completion certificate. Bookings will be confirmed upon payment of invoice. Payment via direct bank transfer is our preferred method.
