Course Description

Developing and implementing a solid strategy for improvement can be incredibly challenging, especially in a corporate environment, which requires navigating culture, politics, the buy-in from stakeholders. However, you know you know you need to change things, to do things better, but where do you start and how do you make sure everyone is onboard? Whether it is for an entire organisation, a team or even just for a project, this session provides a unique opportunity to gain insight, know-how, guidance and dedicated with a highly experienced process improvement practitioner, helping you with both strategy development and execution. The aim of this session is to understand the strategy development process and its implementation. It will explore your vision, mission, strategic objectives, long-term goals, approach to executing the plan and the tactics supporting the overall approach and strategy. By the end of the session, participants are expected to be able to apply key learning that will help them (1) create a strategy, on one page, that can be communicated and used to engage all staff, and (2) an action plan that will tackle your prioritised issues coupled with a set of KPI’s to measure your success. The scope of your strategy will dictate who is involved at the different stages of development and the overall length of time needed to generate it. The Learning and building of essential skills and competencies for leadership and management functions will advance your capability, productivity and career. This online video conference session gives access to participants from all over the world, relevant to professionals across industries. The interactive session is composed of short presentations, exercises, case study, theory and practice, along with discussion and Q&As. It will provide a unique opportunity to gain insight, know-how, guidance from a highly experienced leadership and management practitioner, and build a personal network of like-minded people in the cohort. It is designed for those leading and managing people or are in executive functions. This is a half day (3 hr session) that can be delivered on a 1-2-1 basis, which provides dedicated attention or to a cohort (max 14 people). Group discount of 10% available for 4 or more people. Participants will be issued with a CPD completion certificate. Bookings will be confirmed upon payment of invoice. Payment via direct bank transfer is our preferred method.
