Course Description

When it comes to making effective decisions, it is important to not only think about the facts but consider the human side to a decision. Learn about the impact of personality on decision-making and explore potential enablers and inhibitors to high-quality decision making and so help participant to make more effective decisions. This session, delivered by a qualified MBTI (Myers Briggs Type Indicator) Assessor, will enhance participant awareness of personality and the approach different people take to decision making. We will develop an awareness of some key inhibitors to effective decision making as well as develop strategies to enhance the effectiveness of decision making in both groups and individuals. Our personality impacts on which activities we prefer to do, how we approach them, the sort of people we work best with and the types of environment that we prefer to be in. An enhanced understanding of our personality can help us to identify more clearly the critical factors that determine how satisfying a future choice is likely to be. You will be required to complete an online personality questionnaire before the session, which takes around 30 minutes, followed by feedback and coaching.
