Course Description

Every transition into an executive role is unique and an art in getting it right. A poor transition will result in low staff engagement and performance with huge impact on the bottom line from loss of productivity and business. The repair and return to a competitive level take many months and years to rebuild a high performing positive culture. A lot is at stake and yet many do little by way of serious planning and preparation, both in terms of personal and organisational investment. The aim of this session is to help those who are thinking, preparing or are in an executive role, to better perform. In terms of objectives, will focus around five key areas and your potential actions: yourself, team, culture, your function or business and the expectations of other stakeholders. It is designed to support them, either as part of their self-managed transition or one supported by the organisation. By the end of the session, participants are expected to be able to apply key learning that will build confidence in reflection and the appreciate of culture, (2) adapt and balance their needs with that of the organisation, and (3) develop actions in building and maintaining excellent relationships with stakeholders. The Learning and building of essential skills and competencies for leadership and management functions will advance your capability, productivity and career. This online video conference session gives access to participants from all over the world, relevant to professionals across industries. The interactive session is composed of short presentations, exercises, case study, theory and practice, along with discussion and Q&As. It will provide a unique opportunity to gain insight, know-how, guidance from a highly experienced leadership and management practitioner, and build a personal network of like-minded people in the cohort. It is designed for those leading and managing people or are in executive functions. This is a half day (3 hr session) that can be delivered on a 1-2-1 basis, which provides dedicated attention or to a cohort (max 14 people). Group discount of 10% available for 4 or more people.
